I made my first Hudson Hat. It is knit in purewool fresh blue (see below). I did different ear flaps and didn't add tassels to the ties, which the pattern calls for. But here it is. I think it is pretty cute.

Hats!!!!
For some reason I never tried to knit a hat before. I think double pointed needles intimidated me. A couple of weeks ago I saw a pattern for a super cute hat and decided to give it a try. The hat came out great, unfortunately, Jules (one of our dogs) decided to chew it. Since then, I have made two more hats. Both are gifts. One for a super cute little girl and the other for my future brother-in-law, who wouldn't stop complaining about how cold his head has been. I hope they like them. The ear flap hat is knit from the Ky Baby Ear Cozy pattern and the adult hat is the same pattern but modified.
The pink is a cotton/ acrylic blend. The adult hat is knit in 100% Purewool in the Fresh Blue colorway.

Here is Liam modeling the hat the Jules destroyed.
